Â
Q: When did you know you wanted to come play college tennis in the United States?
A: "When I started training in the Philippine Tennis Academy, I was able to travel abroad because of my tournaments, I then saw my new goal, which was to study in the United States someday."
Â
Q: Why did you choose Arizona?
A: "I chose Arizona because it's in the Pac-12. I wanted a more competitive conference to fully challenge my capabilities not only in tennis but in my academics as well."Â
Â
Q: How has the transition been since arriving from a foreign country?
A: "At first, it was really hard having to adjust with a different environment, culture and tradition and also being away from the people I love was the toughest part. After a month, I was able to build a bond with my amazing team and that's when I started enjoying college tennis and studying at the U of A."Â
Â
Q: What do you love most about being on a team?
A: "The thing I love the most about being on the team, are the tough challenges we are going to experience together for four years. No matter what happens, we will always be there for each other."
