Los Angeles, Calif.- The Wildcats had some decent performances turned in in Los Angeles as they battled in the Jack Kramer Tournament. Carlos Hassey reached the quarterfinals in the tournament before eventually falling. Meanwhile two doubles teams made it to the quarterfinals as well, with Jared Horwood and Nick Lagaev making it all the way to the semifinals.

Hassey performed admirably in both sides of the tournament. He grabbed two wins in each doubles and singles, having a record of 2-1 in both. He made it the farthest in the tournament of all Wildcats in singles and eventually lost to the tournament champion August Holmgren. His partner, Hiroki Sakagawa had a singles win and two doubles wins, bringing him a 1-1 singles record and a 2-1 doubles record.

Horwood and Lagaev did not fare well in singles, losing their only matches, but made up for it in doubles. The tandem tore through the bracket for a 3-1 doubles record, only to be stopped in the semifinals by tournament champions David Goulak and Ivan Thamma.
