Los Angeles, Calif. - Three Wildcats got off to a hot start in the Southern California Intercollegiates. With a doubles record of 1-0 and a combined singles record of 5-1, Arizona placed two of its three members in the quarterfinals. Matches will start at 10 a.m. tomorrow with doubles.
Alejandro Reguant came out firing in his two singles matches, winning both easily and attaining a 2-0 singles record so far in the tournament. He and
Filip Malbasic paired up for doubles and tallied a win in the only doubles match of the day. Malbasic won his two singles matches today as well, placing him and Reguant in the quarterfinals of the singles bracket. Malbasic acrries a 2-0 record in the tournament so far.
Jonas Ziverts came out ready in his first match and won, but dropped the second match in a three set duel with Schnaitter from APU.
