Brooks Fail highlighted the the Cats' second day at the Minnesota Invitational by placing second in the men's 500 free.Â
Fail placed 2nd with a time 4:11.79, also qualifying for an NCAA A cut. That marked the nation's fastest time this fall and is the program's fourth-fastest in program history. Fail had the top prelim time (4:12.17) of the morning before placing 2nd in the final.Â
