Malbasic, the No. 122 player in the country improved his singles record to 7-0 this season and stretched Arizona's lead to 2-0 after a convincing 6-1, 6-0 victory over Filippo Mora. The Cats clinched the match against Auburn after Reguant defeated Tad Maclean 6-3, 6-2 and
Jonas Ziverts won his match 7-6 (7), 6-2 over Matteo DeVincentis on court one. The 7-1 Wildcats will face off against a tough No. 32 Texas Tech team for a chance to advance on to the final round of the Blue/Gray Tournament. Â

"Good win this morning and solid performance from all our guys," said head coach
Clancy Shields. "This team's confidence is growing every match and I still think we have a lot higher tennis level still in us. We will have a tough match with a very good Texas Tech team in the semifinals."
