Pac-12 Championships Recap
The Wildcat men finished third in the Pac-12 with 570 points, the highest finish since 2012 and most points earned in 5 years. 
 
The Cats earned an NCAA A cut finished in the top-three in four relays. Individually, Arizona placed in the top-eight nineteen times and the top-three in seven events.
 
Freshman-transfer David Schlicht placed in the top-three three times individually. He earned a silver medal in the 200 IM (1:42.38) and 400 IM (3:40.14). In the 200 breast, he placed third with 1:53.50. 

Senior Chatham Dobbs earned a bronze in the 100 fly with 45.49 and in the 100 back with 45.77.
 
NCAA Championships Information
A total of 235 swimmers and 35 divers will be competing. The Cats qualified seven swimmers.

Brooks Fail – 500 free, 1650 free
Etay Gurevich – 400 IM
Jorge Iga – 200 free
Sam Iida – 400 IM, 200 breast

Marin Ercegovic, Daniel Namir, Noah Reid, and Matt Salerno will be additional relay swimmers. In total, three freshmen, two sophomores, four juniors, and two seniors will be representing Arizona. 
 
Arizona in the Rankings
The Wildcats hold a top-twenty time in the nation in ten events. Fail holds the highest ranking for the SwimCats, at third, in the 500 free. The sophomore also is the eleven-seed in the 1650 free. Freshman Schlicht has the fourth-fastest time in the 400 IM, seventh-fastest in 200 IM, and eighteenth in the 200 breast.
