Birmingham, Ala. –– The Cats closed out the 2019 indoor track and field season at the NCAA Indoor Championships on Saturday.

Carlos Villarreal garnered All-America Honors on the final day of indoor completion.

Carlos Villarreal wrapped up the NCAA Championships with a fourth-place finish in the mile run to earn First Team All-America Honors. Villarreal crossed the line in 4:08.41.
She's Not New Anymore
In her debut season as a Wildcat, junior high jumper
Lillian Lowe posted a podium finish at the NCAA Indoor Championships. She cleared 1.81m (5-11.25) to finish seventh and become a First Team All-American.
Up next, the Cats will host the Willie Williams Classic beginning on Friday, March 15th at Roy P. Drachman Stadium.
