TUCSON, Ariz. – Cody Dalton, Gustavs Kehris and Tatum Waggoner were named 2018-19 Google Cloud Academic All-District First Team on Tuesday, CoSIDA announced.
 
The 2019 Google Cloud Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Teams, selected by CoSIDA, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
 
Dalton, a thrower from Alamo, Calif., graduated with a master's degree in Real Estate Development in May of 2019. He competed in six outings during the 2019 outdoor season. He finished in the top-10 on six occasions. Highlighting his 2019 campaign was a mark of 58.45m (191-9) to set a PR in the hammer throw at the 2019 Desert Heat Classic.
 
Kehris, an 800-meter runner from Riga, Latvia, graduated in May of 2019 with a degree in Physics. He was named the Arizona Athletics Valedictorian, boasting a perfect GPA during his four years in Tucson. He appeared in six outings during 2019, finishing in the top-10 in four races. Highlighting his final year competing for Arizona was a third-place finish in the 800-meter run at the New Mexico Classic in 1:55.05.
 
Waggoner, a 400-meter sprinter from Phoenix, Ariz., is currently in gradate school studying Special Education. She currently holds the No. 2 400-meter dash mark in the Arizona Record Book with a PR of 51.89 and was the second leg in the ladies 4x400-meter relay team that set the School Record at the NCAA West Preliminary Round last weekend. For the first time in her career, she qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 400-meter dash and will compete in the semifinal on June 6th.
