Wildcats Send Athletes to Lubbock and Seattle

TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Track and Field is headed to both Lubbock, Texas and Seattle, Wash. for the Texas Tech and University of Washington Invitationals this weekend.

The Wildcats will kick off the Texas Tech Invitational at 11:00 a.m. MST on Thursday with Skylar Sieben and Dominic Gehr competing in the combined events. On Friday, the combined events will continue at 11:00 a.m. MST followed by field events at 2:00 p.m. MST and running events at 4:00 p.m. MST. Saturday's events will get underway at 10:00 a.m. MST.

Traveling to Seattle is the Arizona distance crew who will open up the University of Washington Invitational with the women's 5k at 4:40 p.m. MST on Friday. Saturday's events will begin at 11:20 a.m. MST.

Teams competing in Lubbock include Baylor, Boise State, Florida, Florida State, Iowa State, Miami, North Carolina State, Ohio State, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Texas Tech, UNLV, USC, and Utah.

In Seattle, the Wildcats will be competing against BYU, California, Cal State Fullerton, Gonzaga, Northwestern, Oregon State, Sacramento State, San Diego State, UCLA, UNLV, Utah, Washington and Washington State among others.
