Where Are They Now: Susan McRann

Susan McRann was a member of the Arizona women's tennis team from 2010 to 2014. During her first two years, McRann was coached by Ryan Stotland while he was an assistant for the Wildcats. McRann is now a Management Consultant at PwC in Ireland. ArizonaWildcats.com sat down with McRann to find out how Arizona prepared her for her career.

McRann's role is project based, so within the year she has worked on multiple projects in healthcare, financial services and entertainment.

"I am usually based out on a client site working directly with the client to understand their business, the problems they are facing, and then I would work with them to find solutions and help them to implement those solutions," she said. "It's a fast-paced environment where no two projects are the same which helps to get a wide range of experience."

McRann says that her experience at Arizona allowed her to develop a variety of skills that help her persevere in the business world.

"Arizona has taught me so many skills that transfer directly over to the business world and other areas of life including teamwork, leadership, communication, hard work, the list goes on."

She is still heavily involved with tennis and loves to help out younger players.

"Tennis is still a big part of my life and I coach groups of high performance Irish girls. I even brought a team to Nadal's academy last year for a tournament. It's so rewarding to share the love of the game and see them develop on their tennis journey. I'm sure you will see some of them in college tennis in the future."

Be sure to check back next week as we will feature another women's tennis alum. Don't forget to follow us on Twitter @ArizonaWTennis.
