Three years ago on Aug. 18, the Wildcats opened up the 2017 season with a 2-0 win on the road in Norman, Okla. vs. No. 16 Oklahoma. Jill Aguilera scored at the end of the first half in the 44th minute to put Arizona on the scoresheet and Hailey Mazzola put the match to bed with a goal in the 66th minute.

Lainey Burdett kept a clean sheet to start the season and only had to make one save thanks to the back line that allowed just five shots all game as opposed to Arizona's 16.
