TUCSON, Ariz. – Francesca Green, who has been on the Arizona Track & Field staff for over a decade, has been promoted to Associate Head Coach for the upcoming season.

Green, who coaches sprints and relays, is coming off a very successful 2020-21 season as she coached her athletes to several accomplishments, including four NCAA Championships qualifiers, four First-Team All-America honors, two school records, one conference champion and a U.S. Olympic Trials qualifier.

At the NCAA Championships, the men's 4x400 relay team broke the all-time school record with a time of 3:03.58.

Green also coached the Pac-12 Men's Freshman of the Year last season and helped current Wildcat
Umajesty Williams move up to fifth all-time in the Arizona 400m list. On the women's side, she helped
Shannon Meisberger PR in the 400m as she moved into ninth all-time in Arizona history.
