TUCSON, Ariz. -- Coming off a Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week honor and a CoSIDA Academic All-District honor,
Jill Aguilera has now been name All-Pac-12 Second Team for her performance in the 2021 season.
This is Aguilera's second All-Pac-12 honor of her career, after being named second team last season. This season Aguilera has scored nine goals and made one assist, giving her 19 points. Of her nine goals, four were game-winners and three were single-match braces. Two of Aguilera's game winners earned Arizona their Pac-12 victories against Utah and Arizona state. Early on in conference play Aguilera became only the second player to score on UCLA and the first to score on Bruin keeper Lauren Brzykcy. She finished the season with the most offensive minutes on the pitch and the third overall minutes (1388).
In her final match as a Wildcat she won Arizona their seventh consecutive win over Arizona State while also breaking the program record for career goals scored. In an over time PK she scored her 33rd career goal, moving into first place in program history for career goals.
Aguilera had her playing rights acquired by the the Chicago Red Stars in the NWSL in Fall of 2020.
