Despite the meet's outcome, several Cats had notable performances in today's matchup. Freshman Haakon Naughton took first place in the men's 100 and 200 fly, with times of 48.25 seconds and 1:46.96. Senior Ryan Purdy also took a first-place spot in the men's 100 back, with a time of 48.91 seconds. Â

Bjorn Markentin placed first in the men's 3-meter event, besting his opponent by over 35 points. Â
