TEMPE, Ariz. - Arizona Swimming and Diving wrapped up their final dual meet of the regular season today with a face-off against Arizona State on Saturday. The Wildcats were defeated with a final combined score of 434.5–146.5.
Despite the outcome, Arizona swept all four diving events. Taking the top three spots in both the Women's 1-meter and 3-meter events was Delaney Schnell in first, Quinn Gariepy in second, and Gracie Sleeman in third. On the men's side, Bjorn Markentin took both first-place spots in the 1-meter and 3-meter events.
Standout junior Julia Heimstead secured four top three finishes today, taking second in the Women's 200 back and the 400 free relay, as well as third in the 200 free and 200 fly events.

Next time the Wildcats take on the pool will be the Pac-12 Championships. The women, in addition to diving, will compete from Wed, Feb. 22 to Feb. 26 and the men will compete the following week, from Wed, March 1 to March 5. The championships will be held in Federal Way, Wash. at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center.
