Jay Friend took the #12 pair in the country at one doubles. The senior and freshman pair defeated Josh Charlton and Quinn Vandecasteele 6-2 in front of a roaring crowd of Wildcat fans. Then freshmen Wildcat duo
Eric Padgham and
Dominique Rolland clinched the point for Arizona at three doubles, defeating Ray Lo and Luke Vandecasteele 6-4.
In singles play, Rolland won the first match for the 'Cats after a medical retirement on court six. The freshman Wildcat defeated Ray Lo 6-1 before the Duck called the match. Next was
Gustaf Strom with a straight set finish at three singles against Jesper Klov-Nilsson (6-3, 6-3). The Swede is now 15-2 in dual matches. #108
Nick Lagaev clinched the match for Arizona at four singles after splitting sets with Ivailo Keremedchiev. The Wildcat captain defeated the Duck 6-4, 4-6, 6-1 in front of a chirping crowd at LaNelle.
Men's Tennis maintains a perfect 11-0 record at home, are now 18-4 in the regular season and 4-1 in Pac-12 play. They are back at home on Sunday, April 9 to host #51 Washington for their senior day where they will honor
