Women's Tennis Announces 2025 Spring Schedule

Tucson, Ariz.- Arizona's Women's Tennis has released their schedule for the upcoming 2025 spring season, as announced by head coach Ryan Stotland. The squad's slate is highlighted by 18 home matches at LaNelle Robson Tennis Center.

The Wildcats will begin the season at home, competing against LMU at 10:00 a.m. MST and UC San Diego at 2:00 p.m. MST on Friday, Jan. 17. The squad will then welcome No. 68 Baylor and Northern Arizona to Tucson Monday, Jan. 20, for Arizona's final matchups before heading off to Malibu. Arizona will participate in the ITA Kickoff Weekend Jan. 24-25, taking on No. 6 Pepperdine and either Georgia Tech or Florida State in Malibu, Calif.     

The Wildcats will then travel to Texas to face Rice away on Jan. 31 (11:00 a.m. MST) before playing No. 21 San Diego at 11:00 a.m. MST on Feb. 1. ITA National Indoors are slated to take place Feb. 7-10 in Champagne, Ill.

The Cats will then return home for matches against Princeton beginning at 2:00 p.m. MST on Feb. 14. Following the Princeton matches, the Wildcats will host Texas Tech at 5:00 p.m. MST with only doubles competing. Singles play against Texas Tech will begin at 11:00 a.m. MST on Feb. 15 before taking on UC Santa Barbara at 2:00 p.m. MST. Arizona will host their final non-conference matches against Colorado State and Buffalo on Feb. 22. Colorado State matches will begin at 10:00 a.m. MST, and Buffalo's will begin at 2:00 p.m. MST.

Conference play begins for the Wildcats with matches against No. 38 BYU in Tucson on Feb. 27 at 12:00 p.m. MST. Arizona will then host Utah on Mar. 1 at 12:00 p.m. MST before playing at Iowa State Mar. 7 (3:00 p.m. MST). The Wildcats will then play in a pair of matches in Los Angeles, Calif., against No. 22 USC (March 15) and UCLA (March 16). The Cats will continue conference play against No. 60 Kansas Mar. 9 at 10:00 a.m. MST before heading back to Tucson for face-offs against Cincinnati on Mar. 14 and West Virginia Mar. 16. A final non-conference match will take place against Grand Canyon Mar. 16 before Big-12 play resumes with trips to No. 69 Kansas State on Mar. 21 and No. 2 Oklahoma State on Mar. 23. Arizona will head back home to host matches against No. 26 Arizona State (Mar 29), No. 35 Baylor (Apr. 4), and No. 46 TCU (Apr. 6). The regular season will wrap up with a pair of road matches, first at No. 71 Colorado (Apr. 11 at 5:00 p.m. MST) and then at No. 27 Texas Tech (Apr. 13 at 10:00 a.m. MST).

The spring season will conclude at the Big 12 Championship April 16-20 in Waco, Texas.
