TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Triathlon head coach Wes Johnson has announced the addition of Maria Clara Abreu Borges Cunha to the roster. She will begin training with the team in January 2026.
 
"As the 2025 South American Junior Champion, Maria Clara brings a champion-level strength and mindset to our team for 2026 and beyond," Johnson said. "Outside of the racecourse, she excels in the classroom and exemplifies all of the champion characteristics that we are looking for in future Wildcats."
