TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Track & Field wrapped up the two-day Willie Williams Classic on Saturday at Drachman Stadium.
On Friday, the Wildcats saw four event wins, 15 top-three finishes, and numerous personal bests.
Youssef Koudssi won the men's discus,
Mackenna Orie won the women's shot put,
Antonia Sanchez Nunez won the women's 400m hurdles, and
McKenna Watson won the women's 200m. Watson clocked a time of 23.10 in her 200m win which ranks second all-time in school history.
The Wildcats followed that up on Saturday with four more event wins and 17 additional top-three finishes.
Zach Extine won the men's 110m hurdles,
Tapenisa Havea won the women's discus, and freshman
Jathiyah Muhammad won the women's pole vault. Additionally, the men's 4x100m team of
Isaac Davis,
Brian Limage,
Diego Marquez,
Tyson Tippett won the relay event. Extine ran a personal best time of 13.51 in his 110m hurdles win, which is second all-time in school history. Overall, the Wildcats saw multiple top 10 all-time performances in school history across the two days of competition.
"The Willie Williams Classic was a great competition for us," said the Director of Track & Field/Cross Country
Fred Harvey. "We competed at a high level and had a lot of personal bests and top 10 all-time performances in different event areas which is always where we want to start at."

FIELD HIGHLIGHTS
Freshman
Jathiyah Muhammad won the women's pole vault with an impressive clearance of 13-9.25 (4.20m) which is a collegiate personal best. Muhammad's mark ranks fourth all-time in school history and was just 0.01m off the program freshman record.

Olivia Dillon, and
Kelly de Jong placed sixth, seventh, and ninth overall, respectively, in the event as well.
Tapenisa Havea won the women's discus with a personal best mark of 185-3 (56.46m) which came on her fifth attempt of the competition. Havea moves to fifth in school history in the event.
Mackenna Orie finished fourth overall as well.
Four Wildcats finished in the top seven in the men's shot put.
Zach Landa placed third overall with a throw of 60-10.75 (18.56m) and
Tyler Michelini finished fourth with an outdoor personal best toss of 60-5.75 (18.43m).
Youssef Koudssi placed sixth with a mark of 59-3 (18.06m) and
Sam Hala'ufia finished in seventh with an outdoor personal best throw of 58-5.25 (17.81m).
Richard Legarra had a personal best mark in the event as well. Additionally, former Wildcat and NCAA Champion
Jordan Geist won the overall event with a mark of 69-10.25 (21.29m).
Sylvan Osman finished third overall in the men's pole vault with a clearance of 14-11.5 (4.56m).
Freshman
Alexandra Johnson placed fourth overall in the women's high jump, clearing a collegiate personal best height of 5-4.5 (1.64m).
TRACK HIGHLIGHTS
Zach Extine won the men's 110m hurdles with a big personal best time of 13.51. Extine's time ranks second all-time in school history and is just 0.04 seconds off the school record. Extine broke the 60m hurdles record during the indoor season. Freshman
Bogdan Vidojkovic finished seventh overall in the event as well with a time of 14.42.
The Arizona Men won the 4x100m relay with anchor leg
Tyson Tippett pulling away to win the event by 0.04 seconds at the finish line. The full team of

The Arizona Women placed second overall in the 4x100m relay, clocking a season-best time of 44.49 which ranks third all-time in school history. The team was comprised of

Dakota Minor, and
Jade Brown. Arizona's B team of
Presley Money,
Esther Akinlosotu,
Zana Ryan, and
Camila Aguilar-Perez also finished seventh in the competition.
McKenna Watson clocked a personal best time of 11.40 in the women's 100m, placing second overall. That time is fourth all-time in program history. She was followed by teammate
Jade Brown, who placed third with a time of 11.45.
Tyson Tippett ran a time of 10.32 in the men's 100m, finishing second overall in the event.
Brian Limage placed fourth with a time of 10.43.
Trayvion White-Austin, who competed unattached, won the event with a time of 10.20.
In the women's 100m hurdles,
Taylen Wise finished runner-up, clocking a time of 13.26 which is a personal best and ranks seventh all-time in school history.
Ava Simms ran a personal best time of 52.93 in the women's 400m to place second overall. Simms' time ranks 10th in program history in the event and marks her first time running sub-53 seconds.
Antonia Sanchez Nunez finished fourth overall with an outdoor personal best time of 53.56. Additionally,
Brooke Nordman and
Cecelia Woods both ran outdoor personal best times in the event as well.
Kara Mickelson finished runner-up in the women's 800m, clocking a personal best time of 2:09.33.
Keilee Hall finished in fifth place with a personal best time of 2:12.04 as well.
In the men's 800m,
Cade Russo placed second overall with a time of 1:50.37.
Noah Ray finished third with a personal best time of 1:50.65. Additionally, freshman José Rodríguez ran a time of 1:51.47 and
Ian Sanchez Lopez clocked a personal best time of 1:51.97.
Julius Cheek ran a personal record time in the event as well.
In the men's 400m,
Isaac Davis placed third overall with a time of 46.65.
Diego Marquez clocked an outdoor personal best time in the event.
To end the day on the track, the Arizona Women finished second overall in the 4x400m relay with a season-best time of 3:43.11. The team was comprised of
Camila Aguilar-Perez,
Kara Mickelson,
Dakota Minor, and
Keilee Hall.
