TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Triathlon announced its full 2025 schedule on Friday, featuring five races highlighted by the program's first home race.

Wes Johnson and the Wildcats are returning 10 triathletes from the 2024 National Championship team, including senior
Kelly Lyn Wetteland and sophomore
Margareta Vrablova who placed second and third, respectively, at the National Championship in 2024. Arizona will welcome
Jenna Gilhooly as the lone freshman to the 2025 roster.
Arizona opens the season with two road races beginning with the Southern Hills Collegiate Cup on Saturday, August 30 in South Dakota. Then, the Cats will head to Colorado for the Grand Junction Desert Heat Collegiate Cup on Saturday, September 13.
Following the first two races, the Wildcats will host their first-ever home race on Saturday, September 20. More details about the home event will come at a later date.
Arizona will then compete in the NCAA West National Qualifier on October 26 in Fort Worth, Texas followed by the USA Triathlon National Championship on November 8 in Tempe, Arizona.
