2017: Named NFCA first-team NFCA All-American, UA's first first-team All-American pitcher since Kenzie Fowler in 2010 … Pac-12 Pitcher of the Year, UA’s first to win the award since Alicia Hollowell in 2004 … Selected as one of 10 Finalists for USA Softball Player of the Year … First-team all-conference and all-region performer as well as a member of the all-defensive team … Went 30-5 with a Pac-12-best 1.21 ERA and struck out 210 batters in 219.0 innings … Named NFCA, USA Softball, ESPNW and Pac-12 Player/Pitcher of the Week in week 7 after no-hitting No. 6 Washington (3/24) and posting a 0.00 ERA in two complete-game victories in Arizona's sweep of the Huskies … Led the Pac-12 and finished ninth in the NCAA with a 1.21 ERA and was second in the conference and fifth in the NCAA with 30 victories … Went 30-5 to become the 19th Wildcat in UA history to post 30 wins … Threw nine shutouts on the year, including six vs. ranked opponents: #21 Baylor (7 IP, 5 H), #23 BYU (6 IP, 3 H), #6 Washington (7 IP, 0 H), #6 Oregon (7 IP, 5 H), #23 Arizona State (5 IP, 1 H) and #24 South Carolina (7 IP, 1 H) … Struck out a career-high 10 batters in 4.1 innings in a victory at Oregon State (3/19) … Allowed two or fewer runs in 29 of her 34 starts on the season … Finished top three in the Pac-12 in every major pitching category: 1st with 1.21 ERA (9th in NCAA), 2nd with 210 strikeouts (28th in NCAA), 2nd with .184 opponent batting average, 3rd with 219.0 innings pitched, 2nd with 30 victories (5th in NCAA), 2nd with 35 games started and 1st with nine shutouts (17th in NCAA) … Named Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention … One of ESPN.com’s Preseason Top 25 Players (No. 25) … Two-time Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week and one-time national (NFCA, USA Softball, ESPNW) pitcher of the week.
 
2016: Led the Pac-12 in victories (26) and finished third in ERA (2.17) and strikeouts (192) … Four-time Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week … First-team all-Pac-12 and all-region performer … Arizona’s first, first-team all-Pac-12 pitcher since 2010 … O’Toole posted the most victories by a Wildcat since 2011 and lowest ERA since 2010 (both Kenzie Fowler) … Threw three shutouts vs. top-15 opponents (2/19 vs. #4 LSU, 2/27 vs. #14 Tennessee, 5/21 vs. #11 Tennessee), making her the first Wildcat to throw multiple seven-inning shutouts vs. top-15 opponents since Taryne Mowatt in 2007 … Led the Pac-12 in complete games (24) and shutouts (9) … Was phenomenal at fielding her position and finished fourth on the team with 67 assists, the most by a Wildcat pitcher since Carrie Dolan in 1997 (72) … Was named to the Pac-12 all-defensive team … Started 37 of Arizona’s 61 games and completed 24 of them, including nine shutouts … Appeared in six games in relief and led the team with three saves … Limited opponents to just a .217 batting average … Walked just 49 batters in 216.0 IP, helping her to a 192/49 K/BB ratio … Allowed three or fewer earned runs in 38 of her 43 appearances … Named Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week in week 2 after notching two victories over top-15 opponents, including a three-hit shutout of No. 4 LSU (2/19), at the Mary Nutter Classic … Named Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week in week 6 after posting a 1.00 ERA and an .857 WHIP in Arizona’s series victory vs. ASU, including a one-hit shutout in game 1 (3/18) … Received the final two Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week awards after going 2-0 vs. Oregon State, allowing one total run in two complete-game victories and then following with a 2-0 weekend vs. California with two more complete-game victories … Knoxville Regional: Had a regional to remember, pitching all but 2.2 innings and going 3-0 to lead Arizona to the Knoxville Regional Championship … Pitched 19.1 innings, all but three of which occurred in a 31-hour stretch from Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon, and posted a 1.09 ERA to go along with a .109 opponent batting average … Threw a one-hit shutout vs. national No. 13 seed Tennessee (5/21) in which she retired the final 21 batters she faced after allowing a single to start the game … Auburn Super Regional: Pitched a gem in game 1 (5/28), holding the nation’s top run-producing team to three runs on just two hits in UA’s series opening victory … For the weekend, went 1-2 with a 4.20 ERA in 13.1 innings.

Prior to Arizona: Spent two seasons at San Diego State, where she was named the Mountain West Pitcher of the Year in 2014 and Mountain West Freshman of the Year in 2013 … A two-time all-Mountain West performer … Cited as second-team all-NFCA West Region in 2014 … A six-time Mountain West Pitcher of the Week honoree … Won 31 games in 2014, most in San Diego State history … Left San Diego State as the school’s leader in winning percentage (.726) … In two years with the team, went 45-17 with a 1.87 ERA in 411.2 innings pitched with 317 strikeouts compared to just 80 walks … Attended St. Lucy’s H.S. in Upland, Calif. where she excelled as both a pitcher and a first baseman.
 
Personal: Born Danielle Denise O’Toole in July of 1994 in Fontana, Calif. to Diana and Mike O’Toole … Chose to transfer to Arizona because she “fell in love with the school and knew that it was the place I wanted to go.”
