2017: Did not allow an earned run in 16.1 innings pitched … Threw a perfect game (5.0 IP, 6 K), the ninth in Arizona history, in her lone start of the season (3/11 vs. Hartford) … Struck out 13 and walked four over eight appearances … Limited opponents to just a .127 average and did not give up an extra-base hit … Named Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week in week 5 following her perfect game.
 
2016: Pitched 10.2 innings over eight appearances including two starts … Went 0-1 with a 3.94 ERA and struck out seven batters … Allowed just one total run in her first three appearances and then just one total run over her final four … Struck out a season-high four batters in her first start of the season vs. Cal Poly (2/21) … Is the Arizona active leader in career innings pitched (216.1) entering her senior year.
 
2015: Received the bulk of the work in the circle, leading the Wildcats in innings pitched (183.2), ERA (3.62), wins (19), strikeouts (135), appearances (42), games started (33), complete games (12) and batting average against (.260) … Named honorable mention Pac-12 all-academic … Her .260 batting average against ranked fifth in the conference … Also ranked fifth in the Pac-12 in strikeouts (136) and appearances (42) … Finished eighth in the Pac-12 in ERA (3.62) … Pitched the sixth-most innings (183.2) in the conference while starting the second-most games (33) … Set a career mark with nine strikeouts vs. Bryant (3/1) … Was brilliant against one of the nation’s elite offenses when she shutout No. 3 Oklahoma over 5.1 innings of three-hit, three-strikeout ball in Arizona’s walkoff win over the Sooners (2/19) … Earned complete-game victories in both of Arizona’s victories at No. 11 California, totaling 14 innings and giving up just seven total hits and two earned runs in Arizona’s series victory in Berkeley … Was the winning pitcher in Arizona’s 11-1 mercy victory over No. 21 Arizona State (3/29) with three innings of scoreless work vs. the Sun Devils … Tucson Regional: Earned a complete-game victory in the regional opener vs. St. John’s when she went seven innings and gave up two runs, one earned on seven hits with four strikeouts … Saw action in both games of the doubleheader vs. Minnesota (5/17) … Started and gave up one run on three hits vs. the Golden Gophers in game 1 before pitching 5.1 innings and allowing four runs on eight hits in the regional championship … Did not factor into the decision of either contest … Baton Rouge Super Regional: Started and gave up six runs on five hits in three innings in game 2.

High School: A four-year letterwinner at San Marino High School under head coach Mitch Dimkitch … First-team all-state in 2011, 2012 and 2013 … Named all-Rio Hondo League all four years including the league’s Most Valuable Pitcher as a senior … Team MVP all four years and team captain her junior and senior seasons … Named Pasadena Star News Player of the Year as a senior … Ninth in CIF history in strikeouts … Tied for fourth with Lisa Fernandez in CIF history in consecutive no-hitters … Compiled a 0.74 ERA her senior season … Struck out 299 strikeouts in 160.2 innings pitched.
 
Personal: Born Michelle Marie Floyd in November of 1994 to Dan Floyd and Julee Mon … Father is a financial planner and mother is a secretary … Father played football at Stanford … Has one sister, Charmayne (17) … In her free time enjoys drawing, filming and editing and playing random sports (racquetball, volleyball and spike ball) … Plans to major in journalism in order to become an international sports broadcaster … Chose Arizona over Stanford, Tennessee and Texas because of “Coach Candrea, the athletic staff and support system.”
