2017-18: Had the second fastest time on the team in the 400 IM with 4:11.43, earning an NCAA B cut at Pac-12 Championships…Finished in the top five eighteen times throughout the season in various events, including two runner-ups in the 200 back…Had the third fastest team time in the 200 back with 1:57.22…Owned the fourth-fastest time on the team in the 500 free (4:43.31) and 100 back (57.31)…Pac-12 All- Academic Honorable Mention…CSCAA Scholar All-American Honorable Mention.
2016-17: Had the third fastest team time in the 200 backstroke with 1:57.30 (NCAA B cut)…Swam a 2:01.63 in the 200 butterfly, fourth fastest on the team…Finished in the top-three three times, including runner-up vs. ASU in the 200 back (1:58.60)…Set a personal best in the 500 freestyle with 4:45.31 and 400 IM with 4:12.11 at the Pac-12 Championships…Earned Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention.
2015-16: Earned Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention honors…Had the third fastest time on the team in the 400 IM after finishing eighth in the B final at the Pac-12 Championships (4:18.59)…Finished seventh in the B final of the 500 free at Pac-12s (4:48.80) and eighth in the B final of the 200 back (1:58.21)…Earned two NCAA ‘B’ cuts at the Pac-12 Championships (200 back, 400 IM)…Finished with a season-best of 56.28 in the 100 back versus ASU.
2014-15: Had the second fastest time on the team in the 400 IM (4:16.66)…Also had the third fastest time in the 500 free (4:49.22) and 200 back (1:58.56) and fourth fastest time in the 100 back (57.17) and 200 IM (2:04.62)…Earned an NCAA ‘B’ cut at the Pac-12 Championships in the 400 IM and 200 back with her top times of the season.
High School: A varsity swimmer at Montgomery High School…Was team captain all four years…Made All-Conference First Team and All-City First Team freshman through senior year…Made All-America North Coast Section team…Was Redwood All-Empire Swimmer of the Year in 2012…Made All-Empire First Team for four years…Was in the USA Swimming top ten…Holds the North Bay League record in the 500 free…Was a national qualifier…Finished second and fourth in the North Coast Section…Was a two-time Pacific Swimming Outstanding Swimmer…Selected three times for the North American Challenge Cup...Was Academic All-American for four years and USA Swimming Scholar Athlete.
Personal: Born Jenna Faye Bauer in January of 1996 in Santa Rosa, Calif. to Bob and Gwyn Bauer…Has one brother, Kyle…Undecided in her field of study…Likes to hang out with friends and family, wakeboard, snowboard and watch movies in her free time…Chose Arizona over Cal, Texas, Michigan, UCLA, UCSB, Tennessee and Texas A&M because of the coaches and team, Pac-12 conference and it “just felt like home!”
