2017-18: Had the fastest team time in the 100 back (53.08) and 400 IM (4:10.64), earning NCAA B cuts at the Texas Invitational…Had the second-fastest time on the team in the 200 back (1:56.42) and 200 IM (2:00.38) at Pac-12 Championships…Finished the top-three five times in the 100 back, including a win against NAU, NMSU, and Rice…Won the 200 free against Utah…Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team…CSCAA Scholar All-America Honorable Mention.

2016-17: Had the fifth fastest team time in the 500 freestyle with 4:43.29 (NCAA B cut)…Set a personal best and third fastest on the team in the 200 butterfly (2:00.35)…Placed in the top-five nine times throughout the season, including runner up at Utah with 2:06.68 in the 200 fly… Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team…Named a CSCAA Scholar All-American Honorable Mention

2015-16: Named a CSCAA Scholar All-American…Had the fastest time on the team in the 200 fly (1:58.57) and second fastest in the 400 IM (4:13.38)…Finished second in the B final of the 400 IM at Pac-12 Championships with her season-best time…Took first in the C final of the 500 free at Pac-12s with 4:46.12…Placed seventh in the 500 free at the Texas Invitational (4:47.20)…Was runner-up in the 400 IM versus ASU and fourth in the 500 free against No. 2 Stanford.

High School: A four-time letterwinner at Woodbridge High School…Was team captain her junior and senior year, and MVP all four years…Received All-America honors her freshman, junior and senior year…Named the IUSD Athlete of the Year and Woodridge HS Student-Athlete of the Year…Holds the school record in the 50 free, 100 free, 200 free and 500 free.

Personal: Born Daniela Kira Georges in March of 1997 to Jim and Renata Georges…Has an older brother, Olek and a 9-month old sister, Annalia…Undecided in her field of study…Likes to read, eat, sleep and listen to music in her free time…Is fluent in Polish…Chose Arizona over Texas, Virginia, USC, Florida and Georgia because the team was the best fit and she wants to help lead them to a national championship.
