2017-18: Had the fastest time on the team in the 50 free (22.17) and 100 free (48.72), both earning NCAA B cuts…Earned two NCAA A cuts in the 200 free relay and 400 free relay…Earned All-American Honorable Mention in the 50 free and 200 free relay…Finished in the top-two eight times in the 50 free, including three wins…Finished runner-up three times in the 100 back…Had the second-fastest time on the team in the 100 back with 53.18, earning an NCAA B cut…Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team…CSCAA Scholar All-American.

2016-17: Had the fastest team time in the 50 free (21.71), 100 free (48.13), and 100 back (50.02), all NCAA B cuts…Apart of the school record setting 200 medley relay…Placed in the top-three nineteen times, including eight wins…Swam a personal best 52.02 in the 100 back to take third place at the Texas Invitational…Swam in the 200 free relay, 400 free relay, 200 medley relay, and 400 medley relay, all of which qualified for NCAA A cuts…Won the 50 free five times, including the Texas Invitational…A CSCAA Scholar All-American.

2015-16: Named a CSCAA Scholar All-American...Had a top-ten all-time performance in three events (50 free, 100 free, 100 back)…Tied for the fastest time on the team in the 50 free (22.13)…Finished 18th in the 50 free at NCAA Championships with her season-best time, 22nd in the 100 free (48.78) and 26th in the 100 back (52.92)…Helped the team to a fifth-place finish in the 200 free relay at NCAAs, sixth in the 200 medley relay, eighth in the 400 medley relay and eleventh in the 400 free relay…At Pac-12 Championships, took fifth in the 50 free (22.13), seventh in the 100 free (49.13) and sixth in the B final of the 100 back (53.37)…Against No. 4 Texas, placed first in the 100 free with 50.36 and fourth in the 100 back with 55.24.

High School: A six-time letterwinner at St. Joseph’s Catholic High School from swimming on the high school team in middle school…Was a senior captain and MVP freshman and junior year…Made the All-Region team during her junior and sophomore year…Named to the All-State team all six years swimming high school…Was a member of the 2015 Junior National Team where she set a Junior World Record in the 4x100 free relay…Named the 2015 Christian Athlete…Received USA Swimming Scholastic All-America honors…Finished second in both the 50 free and 100 free at Junior Nationals…Holds the YMCA National Records in the 50 free and 100 free…Team was the 2014 South Carolina Junior National Women’s Team Champions and YMCA Swimming National Champions.

Personal: Born Katrina Marie Konopka in April of 1997 to Brian and Karen Konopka…Has two younger sisters, Lauren and Natalie…Planned major in Biochemistry at Arizona…Likes to bake, paint and give swim lessons in her free time…Chose Arizona over Georgia, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia because of the team atmosphere, work ethic and coaching staff.
