2017-18: Had the fourth-fastest team time in the 50 free (22.56) and 100 free (49.41) to earn NCAA B cuts…Finished third in the 100 free against NAU, NMSU, and Rice…Finished tenth in the 50 free at the Texas Invitational…Set a personal best in the 50 free, 100 free, and 200 free…Earned All-American Honorable Mention in the 200 free relay…Pac-12 All-Academic First Team…CSCAA Scholar All-American.

2016-17: Took runner-up three times throughout the season…Had the sixth fastest times on the team in the 100 free (50.13), 100 back (55.33), and 200 back (2:01.76)…Placed 21st at the Texas Invitational in the 50 free and 100 free with 23.04 and 50.46, respectively…Earned Pac-12 All-Academic First Team…A CSCAA Scholar All-American Honorable Mention.

2015-16: Named a CSCAA Scholar All-American…At the Pac-12 Championships, placed second in the C final of the 50 free (22.91) and third in the C final of the 100 free (50.00)...Finished fifth in the 50 free versus No. 7 USC and No. 19 UCLA…Took sixth in the 50 free against No. 2 Stanford with 23.66…At the Texas Invitational, took fifth in the C final of the 100 free with 50.96 and tied for fifth in the C final of the 50 free with 23.49.

Prior to Arizona: Swam for King Aquatic Club…Qualified for the 2014 and 2015 Junior National Championships…Was a part of multiple KING National Age Group Record-breaking medley relays…Qualified for the Olympic Trials in the 50 free…Ranked as the third recruit out of Washington and 53rd nationally.

Personal: Born Ashley Anne Sutherland in February of 1997 to Darrell and Lisa Sutherland…Has a younger brother, Dylan…Planned major in Marketing at Arizona…Likes to inner tube, hike, go-kart and hang out with friends in her free time…Chose Arizona over LSU, Auburn, Texas A&M, Tennessee and Boise State because she loved the campus, coaches and team.
