Before Arizona
Began collegiate career at Kansas (2023) and spent one year at Central Arizona College (2024) before transferring to Arizona…As a sophomore at Central Arizona, made 13 appearances (10 starts) on the mound and went 7-0 with a 1.96 ERA and 58 strikeouts across 55 innings…Picked up Second Team All-Conference honors as a sophomore…Debuted with Kansas as a true freshman in 2023, going 0-1 with an 8.74 ERA and six strikeouts across seven games (three starts) and 11.1 innings…Prepped at St. Pius X High School in Missouri, playing three years of baseball under head coach Rick Ringle…Helped his team win the Missouri state championship as a junior in 2021…Earned First Team All-State First honors as a junior in 2021 and a Second Team All-State selection as a senior in 2022…First Team All-District and All-Conference as both a junior and senior…Second Team All-District pitcher as a freshman…Participated in the 2021 Area Code Games with the Royals…Also played four year of basketball (two letters) and two years of football (one letter).
