High School: Was a star under head coach Mark Barnes at Sumter High School, where he was ranked the No. 1 Class of 2021 outside linebacker prospect in the state of South Carolina and a three-star national prospect by 247Sports…Registered 30 tackles in seven games as a senior, returning from injury to play three playoff games before SHS fell to Dutch Fork in the 5-A lower state championship game…Produced 51 tackles, seven tackles for loss and a pair of sacks as Sumter went 10-1 during his junior campaign…Had 12 tackles in a postseason triumph over Woodmont and also made double-digit stops (10) against Spring Valley...Earned first team all-state and all-region accolades.
