TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona's track and field team will continue their 2017 outdoor season this weekend by sending split squads to Walnut, Calif. for the Mt. Sac Relays and to Dallas, Texas for the TCU Big 5 Classic.

Sage Watson: Watson competed in the 400-meter hurdles last weekend and didn't disappoint. Watson ran a top-three time in the country at 56.12 seconds, the fastest time of Canadian nationals this season, and the seventh-fastest time in the world, per IAAF. Watson will look to improve on that mark this weekend.
Aaron Castle: The senior will be out competing in the shot put again this Saturday and will be looking to improve on his career-best outdoor mark of 19.03 meters (62' 5.25"). Castle has managed to stay in the top-12 in the NCAA all season long.
Viktor Gardenkrans: Gardenkrans had a major breakthrough in the discus this weekend where he broke into the top-12 in the NCAA with a mark of 58.09 meters (190' 7").
Justice Summerset: Summerset was finally able to compete at home in Tucson in front of friends and family. Summerset answered with an outdoor personal-best at 2.19 meters (7' 2.25").
Lisanne Hagens: Hagens took home Pac-12 Field Athlete of the Week honors for her performance at the Jim Click Shootout last weekend. Hagens won the high jump with a mark of 1.85 meters (6' 0.75"), a top-three mark in the country and tied for the eighth-best mark in the world, per IAAF.
