Tucson, Ariz. - Two Arizona Wildcats received Pac-12 All-Conference honors on Wednesday. Forward
Jada Talley was named First Team All-Pac-12 and freshman goalkeeper
Hope Hisey was named Pac-12 All-Freshman.
Talley, who received her second All-Conference recognition in her career today, has been an absolute force to be reckoned with this season. She finished the regular season with 10 goals, eight assists, and 28 points, and is the first Wildcat to ever have that many goals and assists in one season. She scored the seventh-most goals in the Pac-12 and has the fifth-most assists. Talley earned three braces on the season (UCLA, Oregon, and Oregon State), the most of any Wildcat in the 2019 season.
Hisey has started her college career on an incredibly high note, playing in 15 of Arizona's 18 matches, with 11 of them being every Pac-12 game this season. She recorded 49 saves in those 15 matches and kept six clean sheets during the regular season, two being against nationally ranked UCLA and Washington State.Â
These two, along with the rest of the Wildcats, will be back on Nov. 16 at 6 p.m. MST to host TCU in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
