Wildcats Unveil 2026 Schedule Featuring Cactus Classic

TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Soccer head coach Rebecca Moros has announced the Wildcats' 2026 schedule, a challenging slate featuring nine home matches, seven NCAA Tournament teams from a season ago, and the Cactus Classic hosted in Tucson.

Arizona will open the fall with an exhibition match at UC Irvine on Aug. 5 before officially beginning the regular season at Grand Canyon on Aug. 12. The Wildcats return to Tucson for their home opener against New Mexico State on Aug. 15 at 7 p.m. at Mulcahy Stadium.

The non-conference schedule is highlighted by matchups against LSU, North Carolina, Dartmouth, Gonzaga and Pepperdine. Arizona will also host the inaugural Cactus Classic in early September, welcoming North Carolina, Dartmouth and Northern Arizona to Tucson for a three-match homestand.

"Our non-conference schedule will challenge us in a lot of different ways and prepare us for the demands of Big 12 play," said Moros. "We're excited to bring several high-level opponents to Tucson and continue building on the momentum of our program."

The Wildcats travel to Gonzaga on Aug. 20 before facing LSU at Arizona State on Aug. 30. Arizona then hosts North Carolina (Sept. 3), Dartmouth (Sept. 6) and Northern Arizona (Sept. 10) as part of the Cactus Classic before closing non-conference play at Pepperdine on Sept. 13.

Conference play begins Sept. 18 when Arizona hosts BYU under the lights at Mulcahy Stadium. The Wildcats' Big 12 home schedule also features Houston (Oct. 8), Iowa State (Oct. 11), Colorado (Oct. 22) and Baylor (Oct. 25).

Arizona's road conference slate includes trips to Kansas State, Kansas, Oklahoma State, Utah, Arizona State and TCU. The regular season concludes with the annual Territorial Cup matchup at Arizona State on Oct. 30 before the Wildcats close the regular season at TCU on Nov. 5.

The 2026 Big 12 Soccer Championship presented by Allstate is scheduled to begin Nov. 9.

Moros enters her fourth season leading the Wildcats, who return a talented core while adding several impactful newcomers as Arizona looks to continue its rise within the Big 12 Conference and compete for postseason success.
