TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Soccer head coach Rebecca Moros has announced the addition of transfers Grace Smith and Laurynn Ziller to the Wildcats' roster for the 2026 season.
Smith joins Arizona after spending her first two collegiate seasons at Ole Miss. The Cypress, Texas native appeared in 31 matches and made 21 starts for the Rebels, including 11 starts and 918 minutes played during the 2025 campaign. Over her first two seasons in the SEC, Smith logged 1,790 minutes while establishing herself as a consistent contributor in one of the nation's premier conferences.
"Grace is a hard worker, a leader by example and a competitor," said Moros. "She comes to us with strong experience having played a significant role in her first two years in the SEC. She will add presence to our backline, and her versatility and ability to play in the midfield could be important for our team this fall."
Prior to Ole Miss, Smith earned three varsity letters at Cy-Fair High School in Cypress, Texas and competed for Challenge Soccer Club.
Ziller arrives in Tucson after three seasons at UC Irvine. The goalkeeper made her collegiate debut during the 2024 season, appearing in two matches for the Anteaters and recording her first collegiate save in a season-opening victory over Saint Mary's.
A native of Westminster, Calif., Ziller was a First Team All-League selection at Fountain Valley High School and excelled academically throughout her collegiate career, earning multiple Dean's List honors and Big West Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition. She graduated magna cum laude from high school and earned California's State Seal of Biliteracy.
"Laurynn is a great addition to the team," said Moros. "She's battle tested on the field, ambitious in the classroom, and a great person. We're excited to have her and to make the most out of our time together this fall. I know she'll impact the team and the community in a positive way.
