BEAR DOWN WITH ARIZONA FOOTBALL
As the excitement builds for Arizona Football's season opener at 7:30 p.m. (MST) on Saturday at Hawai'i on CBS Sports Network, we are continuing to #BackTheA as we prepare for Saturdays on the magnificent campus of the University of Arizona.
We are pleased to announce our Coca-Cola Fan Fiesta and Wildcat Club tailgate will be hosted inside the beautiful Cole and Jeannie Davis Sports Center, starting this season. This new and dynamic pregame hospitality area opens three hours prior to kickoff and is open to all fans with a ticket to the game. We will have food and beverage concessions with beer and wine options, including some special local vendors like eegee's, Brother John's BBQ and La Parilla Suiza. We will also host plenty of entertainment options for fans with live music, tailgate games and a kids' zone with inflatables and a photo booth.
This climate-controlled space is a tremendous addition to our pregame festivities at Arizona Stadium as we continue our work to enhance the fan experience for our loyal supporters. We will have more information on our game day experience as we get closer to our home opener versus NAU on Saturday, Sept. 7. This is going to be a fun, new addition to the pregame tailgating scene!
You can experience game days in Southern Arizona and #BackTheA by purchasing season tickets today.
SCHOLASTIC SUCCESS
We want to highlight some of the great accomplishments by our Gymnastics student-athletes in the classroom. The Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) awarded 11 GymCats with Scholastic All-American honors, tying a program record. The WCGA recognizes student-athletes with a 3.5 grade point average or above.

This is just the latest honor in a year of record-breaking academic success by Arizona student-athletes and a terrific way to start off the 2019-20 academic year.
KEVIN SUMLIN RADIO SHOW
The 2019 edition of the Kevin Sumlin Radio Show will begin on Monday, Aug. 26 at "Playground" in downtown Tucson at 7 p.m. (MST). You can catch Coach Sumlin and Brian Jeffries on Mondays in person with a chance to win weekly prizes. Or tune in on Wildcats Radio 1290 AM in Tucson, 910 AM in Phoenix or on the TuneIn App.

JOIN US FOR FIRST WATCH RED-BLUE GAME
Coach Miller and the Wildcats will take the floor for the first time this season for the First Watch Red-Blue Game at 7 p.m. (MST) on Friday, Sept. 27 in McKale Center. The annual sold out event is the exciting start to the season, and it's a great testament to our tremendous fans who have made Arizona Basketball the Pac-12's leader in attendance for 35 consecutive seasons.

There are some tickets available for this year's game, and you can get yours by clicking here. We can't wait to see you all on September 27 for an exciting night of basketball.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL SCHEDULE
We have released our complete non-conference schedule for Arizona Women's Basketball. Coach Barnes and the Wildcats return to the court following their WNIT championship with a home exhibition versus Eastern New Mexico on Sunday, Oct. 27 before playing seven games in McKale Center before Pac-12 play. You can lock in your seats for the season, if you haven't already, to Bear Down with Arizona Women's Basketball.

ATHLETICS ALUMNI UPDATE
Former Arizona Baseball infielder Louis Boyd made national news earlier this month when he was named the manager of the Everett AquaSox of the Seattle Mariners farm system at the age of 25. Boyd, a member of the Wildcats' 2016 College World Series team, is now included in The Athletic's "35 Under 35" rankings for major league baseball.

To see one of our student-athletes go on to accomplish great things in the early stages of their professional career is a special sight. Congrats to Louis on this outstanding honor and for being a great embodiment of The Wildcat Way.
