Hats off to Coach Fisch and our football program on the exciting victory in the 96th annual Territorial Cup game. The annual rivalry game is a marquee sporting event for our entire state, which makes Friday's victory even more meaningful. The win capped a strong season for Arizona Football with a four-win improvement from last season, which ties the third-largest win increase in a single season in program history. The 2022 season was also highlighted by a milestone win over No. 9 UCLA at the Rose Bowl as well as exciting, fast and physical brand of football that became the identity of Arizona Football.

The Wildcat Family played an integral part in this season's success as we averaged 44,209 fans at home this season, which was an increase of nearly 10,000 from last season. Our outstanding alumni, supporters, students and fans helped create a tremendous environment inside Arizona Stadium all season. There's nothing quite like Saturdays in the fall on the campus of the University of Arizona and the dynamic buzz of energy that fills our entire community. I want to thank you all for your support all season long.
I would like to congratulate all our football student-athletes, coaches and staff on a successful season. As Coach Fisch mentioned in his press conference this week, this was a successful season for the program as it continues to follow its process of growth and development for the future. If you haven't already made your plans for the 2023 season, Arizona Athletics is already accepting deposits for new season tickets. The entire Wildcat Family is excited for the future of Arizona Football, and we look forward to another productive offseason. Bear Down and Go Cats!

MAUI INVITATIONAL CHAMPIONS
Coach Lloyd and the Wildcats picked up three wins in three days in Maui enroute to Arizona Basketball's third Maui Invitational Championship in program history. Including a pair of wins over top-20 opponents, our men's basketball program put on a show in Hawai'i with our exhilarating style. Oumar Ballo was dominant all week as he earned MVP honors and capped his run with a career-best 30 points and 13 rebounds in the win over No. 10 Creighton in the championship game.
The Maui Invitational is a signature event in college basketball, and our team's impressive run through this year's field was played out on national television on ESPN. The ESPN broadcasts showed the rest of the nation what the Wildcat Family already know, which is that Arizona Men's Basketball is a national power set for another season of excellence.
After rising up to fourth in this week's AP poll, the Wildcats will play at Utah at 6:30 p.m. (MST) on Thursday on Pac-12 Networks. The team will return to Tucson to host Cal inside McKale Center on Sunday, Dec. 4 at 3 p.m. (MST) for our White Out game so make sure to wear White, and you can click here to get your tickets for Sunday's game against the Golden Bears.
