Tulsa, Okla.- The Wildcats began their week at the ITA Men's All-American Championship in both doubles and Singles. Jay Friend, Nick Lagaev, Gustaf Strom, Herman Hoeyeraal, and Colton Smith represented Arizona. 

No.87 Friend started the day off with a ranked win in the qualifying draw, dominating No.101 Edoardo Graziani 6-2, 6-4. This victory marked one of two successful matches for Friend. He continued to play in his doubles match with partner Nick Lagaev against Marcel Kamrowski and Ondrej Horak (MTSU) 5-6, 7-5(2). 

Friend will continue in the singles draw Oct.3 against Luc Koenig (Baylor) at 10 a.m. central time, 8 a.m. Arizona time. 

No.23 Colton Smith will begin his singles matches in the main draw Oct.9.
