TUCSON - Arizona's soccer schedule for the upcoming 2023 season was released on Thursday, highlighted by nine home contests.
Head Coach Becca Moros will be in her third hear at the helm of the Wildcat program and returns the majority of the 2022 squad in addition to welcoming eight newcomers.
The Wildcats will begin 2023 with an exhibition at Pepperdine on Aug. 10 before opening before opening the regular season at Iowa State on Aug. 17. Arizona's first home match will see the Cats take on Grand Canyon Aug. 24 before the squad makes a trip to Flagstaff, Ariz., for an Aug. 27 matchup at NAU.
Arizona will compete in a pair of neutral matches against Kent State (Aug. 31) and Boise State (Sep. 3) in Tempe, Ariz. The match against Boise State will be the first televised match of the season on the Pac-12 Network. The Wildcats will then return home to host Texas Tech Sep. 7 and Utah State Sep. 10. The final non-conference match of the season will be at Gonzaga on Sep. 16.
Conference play opens Sep. 22 on Pac-12 Arizona against Oregon and continues at Cal (Sep. 28) on the Pac-12 Network and Stanford (Oct. 1). The Wildcats will then play in a pair of home matches as they face off against Washington State Oct. 5 and Washington Oct. 8.
UCLA makes the trip to Tucson Oct. 19 for a matchup on Pac-12 Los Angeles, and Arizona will take on USC at home on Oct. 22.
The Wildcats make their final road trip of the regular season to the mountain schools, playing at Colorado Oct. 26 on Pac-12 Mountain and at Utah Oct. 29.
The regular season concludes on Nov. 3 on Pac-12 Arizona against Arizona State.
