The 2023 Arizona Football season is finally here as the Wildcats host Northern Arizona on Saturday at Arizona Stadium. There's been a heightened level of excitement around the program that has only grown as we have gotten closer to kickoff. Our ticket sales have outpaced last season, and we are excited to see our stadium full of red and blue. We want to give Wildcat Wednesday readers a couple of key reminders for gameday on Saturday:
- Arizona Athletics and Arizona Live Arts will welcome Grammy-nominated band, Calexico, for a free concert for fans on the eastside of the UA mall. The band will take the stage at 5 p.m. (MST) on Saturday.
- Our tailgating areas will open at 1 p.m. (MST) around Arizona Stadium.
- Arizona Football's arrival tradition, the Wildcat Walk, will commence at 4:45 p.m. on the UA mall at Cherry Avenue.
- Gates open for entrance into the stadium 90 minutes before kickoff, which will be 5:30 p.m. (MST) on Saturday for Northern Arizona.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. on Saturday with the Pac-12 Networks broadcasting the game. As always, you can listen to Brian Jeffries and Lamont Lovett on the radio broadcast on
Wildcats Radio 1290 and the
Varsity Network.

CONGRATULATIONS COACH STUBBS
I want to congratulate Rita Stubbs again on her first win as head coach of our volleyball program. The Wildcats' 3-1 victory over Pacific over the weekend gave all Wildcats a reason to celebrate. It's an important milestone for Coach Stubbs who spent years as a part of the coaching staff for iconic head coach Dave Rubio after being a Wildcat student-athlete herself.
Arizona Volleyball is heading up I-10 this weekend to participate in Grand Canyon's tournament, facing Iowa State at 4:30 P.M. (MST) on Friday. The matches will be streamed on ESPN+ with more game day information on
ArizonaWildcats.com.

BEAR DOWN ON MONDAYS AS WELL
This week marked the return of the Jedd Fisch Radio Show at Union Public House. If you haven't experienced it live, please make plans to join us on Mondays at 6 p.m. (MST) at Union Public House to hear from Coach Fisch and the voice of the Wildcats, Brian Jeffries, as they discuss Arizona Football. The show will also include special alumni and assistant coach guests throughout the season. You have the chance to ask a question if you're in the audience, so join us on Mondays.
