MALIBU, Calif. - Arizona's Casper Christensen and Zoran Ludoski closed out their weekend at the ITA Sectional Championship this weekend at Pepperdine. 

The pair kicked off play Thursday, Nov. 7 with doubles and singles. As a duo, Christensen/Ludoski fell in the first round of doubles 6-2, 5-7, 7-10 to Chen/Stepanov of Cal. The pair did not go on to play any consolation matches.

In singles play, Ludoski won his first match against #91 Savriyan Danilov (San Diego) 6-2, 6-3. He went on to fall in the round of 16 to #103 Maxi Homberg (Pepperdine) 3-6, 7-6(4), 1-6. Christensen was knocked out in R32 by #44 Theo Dean (Cal) 7-6(3), 5-7, 4-6. Christensen went on to play one consolation match against Samaha Georgio (New Mexico) where he won 7-5, 6-7, 10-8. 

The tournament marked the last chance for players to qualify for the NCAA Individual Championships held later this month at Baylor.
