TUCSON, Ariz. - Arizona Men's Tennis released their schedule for the 2025 Spring season Wednesday, as announced by head coach
Clancy Shields. In their first season as members of the Big 12 conference, the Wildcats will host a 13 home matches, including ITA Kickoff Weekend for the second consecutive year.Â
Arizona will kick off regular season at home on Tuesday, Jan. 14 with a doubleheader against New Mexico (10:00 a.m. / 2:00 p.m.), followed by a weekend on the road where they'll compete against Florida State and Georgia State on Jan. 18 and 19. The following weekend, LaNelle Robson Tennis Center will welcome Central Florida, Southern California and Oklahoma State for ITA Kickoff Weekend, Jan. 25-26, where teams have the chance to qualify for ITA's National Indoor Championships, slated to take place Feb. 14-17.
The Cats will go on to host Utah State and Loyola Marymount on Jan. 7, and Pepperdine on Jan. 9. The next home match will be Feb. 21 vs. San Diego, before Arizona heads up to Tempe for the Diablo Invite March 1-2. A week later, the Cats will host St. John's and Northern Arizona on March 7, and Tulsa on March 9.Â
Arizona will then hit the road to take on Chicago State and Michigan State on March 13, before officially opening Big 12 play March 16 at UCF. The Cats will face their next two conference opponents away at Texas Christian on March 21 and Baylor on March 23.Â
They'll return home for the next four matches: Oklahoma State (March 28), Texas Tech (March 30), Utah (April 3) and their senior day match against Brigham Young (April 5). The Cats will wrap up their regular season in rival territory against Arizona State on April 12.Â
The Big 12 Tournament is slated to take place April 16-20 at Baylor in Waco, Texas. The NCAA Team Championships will take place in May, with the first rounds' host sites to be determined.Â
