URBANA, Ill.- Arizona tallied its fourth top-15 victory of the season on Sunday, defeating 11th-ranked Illinois 4-3 in Champaign.
 
Illinois took the doubles point with wins by No. 57 Lucas Horve and Oliver Okonkwo and No. 3 Hunter Heck and Karlis Ozolins, and the Illini were the first with a singles win when Jeremy Zhang defeated Inaki Cabrera-Bello 6-3, 6-1. 

Herman Hoeyeraal got the Cats on the board first, taking down No. 55 Kenta Miyoshi in a straight-set 6-4, 6-4 victory. No. 39 Heck added to Illinois' lead with a 6-2, 7-6(3) win over No. 8 Colton Smith before Casper Christensen added to the Wildcats' tally with a 6-4, 6-3 takedown of No. 55 Mathis Debru.
 
With a 7-6(5), 6-0 win over William Mroz, Nick Lagaev brought his career win total to 87, the second-most career singles wins in program history.
 
No. 52 Jay Friend sealed the team victory and recorded the third ranked win of the day with a win over No. 30 Karlis Ozolins 7-5, 6-7(11), 6-4. 
 
The Cats return to action Friday, March 22 at 4:00 PM MST against No. 32 USC and Sunday, March 24 at 12:00 PM MST against No. 31 UCLA.
