TEMPE, Ariz.- Arizona earned themselves a ranked victory over No.36 Michigan 4-1 on the second day of competition. This victory placed the Cats in the championship round of the Diablo College Tennis Invitational.

The Cats were quick to secure the doubles point at the start of the match when No.49
Gustaf Strom and Alexander Rozin defeated Nino Ehrenschneider and Alex Cairo 6-1. To lock down the point
Herman Hoeyeraal and
Eric Padgham dominated their court 6-4, allowing Arizona to go into singles 1-0.

Nick Lagaev extended the Wildcats lead 3-0 after a 6-1, 6-1 win. After Michigan put themselves on the board,
Casper Christensen defeated his opponent 6-3, 6-3 to complete the match 4-1.

rd at 1:00 PM MST, Arizona will take on No.15 Michigan State.
