FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. / SEATTLE, Wash. – The Wildcats wrapped up the Tyson Invitational and the Husky Classic on Saturday.
The majority of the team competed at the Tyson Invitational hosted by Arkansas.
Zach Extine's win in the men's 60m hurdles highlighted Friday for the team. On Saturday, the team won its second individual event of the weekend with
Tyler Michelini winning the men's shot put.
Three distance Wildcats competed at the Husky Classic, hosted by Washington. The team had two indoor personal bests.

TYSON INVITATIONAL
FIELD HIGHLIGHTS
Tyler Michelini won the men's shot put with a throw of 62-11.5 (19.19m), earning his second individual event win of the season in the shot. Michelini led most of the competition and then improved his best throw of the day on his last attempt.
Youssef Koudssi also finished ninth overall in the event with a mark of 60-0.25 (18.29m).
Emma Gates finished sixth overall in the women's high jump invitational and
Paris Mikinski placed 10th. Gates cleared a height of 5-10.75 (1.80m) and Mikinski cleared a height of 5-8.75 (1.75m).
Tapenisa Havea placed eighth overall in the women's shot put with a throw of 54-1 (16.48m).
Mackenna Orie also finished 15th in the event with a season-best mark of 51-0 (15.54m).
TRACK HIGHLIGHTS
In the women's 200m,
McKenna Watson ran 23.42 to finish seventh overall. Watson won her heat in the event. Additionally,
Jade Brown ran a 200m season-best time of 24.23.
Trayvion White-Austin ran a time of 21.20 in the men's 200m, placing 15th overall.
Brian Limage posted a time of 21.83 and
Tyson Tippett clocked a time of 21.84 in the event.
In the men's 800m invitational, José Rodríguez clocked a time of 1:51.49.
In the men's 4x400m relay, Arizona ran a season-best time of 3:08.90 to place sixth overall. The team of
Isaac Davis,
Christian Simmons,
Yan Vazquez, and
Brian Limage.
In the women's 4x400m relay, Arizona's team of
Ava Simms,
Keilee Hall,
Brooke Nordman, and
Antonia Sanchez Nunez finished 11th with a time of 3:37.92.
HUSKY CLASSIC
TRACK HIGHLIGHTS
Noah Ray clocked an indoor personal best time of 1:51.84 in the men's 800m.
Cade Russo also competed in the event.
In the women's mile, freshman
Laina Friedmann ran a personal best time of 4:55.04.
UP NEXT
The Wildcats will next compete at the NAU Tune-Up in Flagstaff, Ariz., on February 21, and the USATF Indoor Championships in Staten Island, N.Y., on February 22-23.
