TUCSON, Ariz. - No. 10 Arizona Men's Tennis (8-1) is set for a showdown against No. 9 San Diego (9-1) this Friday, Feb. 21, at 2:00 p.m. MST at LaNelle Robson Tennis Center.
The Cats are looking to defend their home courts against the Toreros, who are fresh off a quarterfinal run at the ITA National Indoor Championships. This past weekend, USD battled out a 4-3 win against No. 7 Duke in the first round of the championships, before falling 2-4 to No. 1 TCU in the quarterfinals.
Arizona is coming off of a 4-0 win over No. 25 Pepperdine on Feb. 9.
USD currently holds the No. 2 singles spot (Oliver Tarvet) and the No. 1 doubles spot (Tarvet and Stian Klaassen) in the nation. The Toreros have two more ranked players, with Savriyan Danilov at No. 34 and Klaassen at No. 94.
