2015-16: Named to the Pac-12 All-Academic First Team…Holds the sixth fastest time in school history in the 1,650 free (14:49.44) and ninth-fastest in the 1,000 free (9:02.00)…At the Texas Invitational, finished fourth in the 1,650 free (14:55.97) and sixth in the 500 free (4:21.90)…Against No. 5 Stanford, earned a first-place finish in the 1,650 free with 15:23.24…Was runner-up in the 1,000 free against both No. 1 Texas (9:23.42) and No. 2 California (9:14.02)…Finished third in the 500 free versus Texas with 4:36.89 and second versus Cal with 4:32.49…At the Pac-12 Championships, was runner-up in the 1,650 free with his season-best time and took second in the B final of the 500 free (4:19.62)…At NCAA Championships, finished 21st in the 1,650 free with 14:59.29 and 34th in the 400 IM with 3:56.53.

2014-15: Named to the Pac-12 All-Academic First Team…Had the fastest time on the team in the 1,000 free (9:13.89) and 1,650 free (14:56.09)…At NCAA Championships, he took 17th in the 1,650 free with 14:56.14 and 45th in the prelims of the 500 free with 4:22.41 for his season-best time…Finished third in the 1,650 free at Pac-12 Championships with his fastest time of the season, earning a ‘B’ cut…Also at Pac-12s, he took third in the C final of the 500 free (4:25.20) and second in the C final of the 400 IM (3:55.98)…At the Texas Invitational, he placed fifth in the 1,650 free and fourth in the B final of the 500 free, earning ‘B’ cuts in both…Took first in the 1,650 free against ASU and second in the 500 free.

2013-14: Opened the season with a victory in the 1000 freestyle against Utah…Earned a NCAA ‘B’ cut in the 500 freestyle at the Texas Invite with a time of 4:24.22…Also posted a ‘B’ cut time in the 1650 free at the Texas Invite with a time of 15:10.18 to finish fourth…Posted the fastest times on the team in both the 1000 free and 1650 free.  

Prep: Competed in the1,500-free at the 2012 Olympic Trials…Was a member of the NCSA Junior National Team in 2010…Earned Academic All-America honors from 2011-13…Junior National champion in the mile and was third in the 1,000.

Personal: Son of Curt and Susan Fowler…Has a younger sister, Victoria…Plans to major in biomedical engineering at the U of A.
