Dear Wildcats,
As you may have already read, the NCAA and the Pac-12 Conference have both announced plans to allow student-athletes to participate in voluntary athletic activities on campuses beginning in June. I appreciate the support and guidance from our national and conference partners on the ongoing work towards the proper re-entry of student-athletes, coaches and staff. Arizona Athletics' commitment to the healthy and safe return of Wildcats to campus continues to be guided by our department's Re-Entry Planning Team. This diverse group of staff, coaches and student-athletes is working in conjunction with
the University of Arizona's Re-Entry Task Force to analyze and strategize our planning process as a campus collaboration. We will continue this important work as part of the University's larger re-entry operations to move towards our future on campus.
As we approach summer, I want to reiterate our commitment to all of you. We are planning and preparing for the safe and healthy return of the Wildcat Family with the intent to return to competition. Our return will prioritize the health and safety of all Wildcats in accordance with all state, local and campus guidelines. The work of our Re-Entry Planning Team, with the guidance of our campus partners, will map out what our future will look like. We will continue to keep you updated on the latest re-entry news and information. We will be safe, and we will Bear Down.
