TUCSON - The Arizona soccer team has been chosen to finish sixth in the 2023 Pac-12 Preseason Coaches Poll, as announced by the league office on Monday.

The Cats tallied 61 points in the poll for their highest placement under Head Coach Becca Moros. The ranking additionally is the program's highest in the preseason poll since the 2020 campaign when the Cats were also chosen to finish sixth.

Arizona returns 23 members of last year's team and adds eight newcomers. The team took on Pepperdine in an exhibition on Aug. 10 and will begin its season at Iowa State Thursday, Aug. 17.
