2016:  Indoors, Godbout competed in the mile race twice during the indoor season. His season-best mark came at the MPSF Championships where he placed 25th overall by clocking in at 4:19.91 ... Outdoors, Godbout competed in the 800 and 1,500-meter races during the 2016 outdoor campaign. His season-best in the 1,500-meter race came at the ASU Invitational where he placed 27th overall with a time of 4:01.59. Godbout was able to find more success in the 800-meter race where he set a personal best time of 1:53.58 at the Jim Click Shootout for a third-place finish. He would go on to place 18th at the Pac-12 Championships with a time of 1:54.83.

2015: Indoors, Godbout set a personal best in the 800-meter race with a time of 1:57.28, good for 12th place overall … Competed in the 800-meter race at the MPSF Championships and clocked a time of 2:03.64, good for a 26th-place finish … Outdoors, took seventh place at the Jim Click Shootout in the 800-meter race with a time of 1:53.98 … Ran in the 800-meter race at the Willie Williams Classic and took third place with a time of 1:55.28 … Set a personal best in the 1,500-meter race at the ASU Invitational with a time of 3:52.30 and finished in 17th place … Finished in fourth place at the Willie Williams Classic in the 1,500-meter race with a time of 3:58.61.

HIGH SCHOOL: Godbout was the team captain at Jesuit High School in Portland, Ore. … He earned all-conference honors in the 1,500-meter race and 3K as a senior … He also earned all-district and all-state accolades in the 1,500 meters as a senior … Godbout was the 6A Oregon State Champion in the event … He clocked a time of 3:52.7, the second-best time in school history … His team won the 6A Oregon State Championship in 2013 and 2014.

PERSONAL: He is the son of Jim and Kelly Godbout … His father, Jim, was a member of the University of Arizona cross country and track and field teams as well … He has one sister, Megan … Godbout has lived in Japan, Hong Kong and South Korea … He is pursuing a business degree in management information systems.
