2016: In his first season Garcia competed in three total meets and had two top-30 finishes to show for it. Garcia took 22nd overall at the Dave Murray Invitational, followed by a 29th-place finish at the ASU Invitational.
High School: Named All-Conference in 2015 ... Named a 2016 All-American in the 4x800-meter race by New Balance ... Earned first-team All-County honors for cross country his senior season ... Holds school-records in the 3-mile and 5K cross country races ... Holds school-records for the mile race and the 800, 1,600, 3,200 and 4x800-meter relay races.
