Monday's NCAA Men's Tennis Selection Show revealed that Arizona Men's Tennis will host the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history. The Wildcats will welcome Boise State, Florida and Oklahoma State to the LaNelle Robson Tennis Center for the opening weekend of postseason play. Arizona will take on the Broncos of Boise State at 1 p.m. (MST) on Friday, May 5 after Florida and OSU meet at 10 a.m. (MST). Tickets are $5 for each of this weekend's matches and only available for purchase at the Robson Tennis Center on match days. This is another key milestone in the tremendous rise of our men's tennis program under Clancy Shields' leadership. Now one of the top programs in the country, Arizona Men's Tennis is living the "Wildcat Way" on the national tennis scene while developing academic, athletic and life champions. ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE CONTINUES 

Record-breaking success in the classroom has become a hallmark of Arizona Athletics throughout the many metrics used. The NCAA's Academic Progress Rate (APR) is just one of the ways our sustained academic excellence has been measured, and its most recent report is another point of pride. 

We tied a department record with 11 programs achieving perfect 1,000-point APR scores with five of our teams also recording all-time highs in multi-year APR scores. This is the latest example of our "Wildcat Way" mission being fulfilled at the highest levels. I would like to congratulate our tremendous student-athletes, outstanding C.A.T.S. Academics staff and terrific coaches who all champion the importance of academic success for all Wildcats.
