It was quite the week for Arizona Baseball at the Pac-12 Baseball Tournament in Scottsdale. After picking up three wins in four days over Arizona State, Oregon State and Stanford, the Wildcats advanced to the championship game and dropped a hard-fought game by one run to Oregon. The Cats rode their hot bats in Scottsdale, scoring 43 runs in four games.

The outstanding week of work in the conference tournament led to the Wildcats hearing their name called during Monday's NCAA Baseball Tournament Selection Show. Coach Hale and company are off to the NCAA Fayetteville Regional on the campus of the University of Arkansas, and they will face TCU to open NCAA postseason play on Friday, June 2 at 6 p.m. (MST) on ESPNU.
Tip of the cap to our baseball student-athletes, coaches and staff on a phenomenal run at the conference tournament and for receiving a well-deserved spot in the NCAA Tournament for the 42nd time in program history. Bear Down and Go Cats!

TRACK & FIELD WILDCATS OFF TO NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS
Arizona Track & Field had another successful week this spring, posting elite performances at NCAA Regionals last week in Sacramento. A total of 11 Wildcats punched their tickets to the NCAA Championships next month in Austin, Texas. Those results included our men's 4 x 100-meter relay team who broke a 33-year old school record with an impressive time of 38.82 seconds. Our 11 Wildcats who have qualified for the NCAA Championships will compete in seven different events.
I want to congratulate our track and field student-athletes who continue to proudly represent the University of Arizona on the biggest of stages and under the bright lights of NCAA postseason meets. We know the program is not yet done turning in more championship performances. The entire Wildcat Family will be cheering you on at the University of Texas next week. Follow ArizonaWildcats.com and @ArizonaTrack on social media for all your updates and meet information.

CAMPUS COLLABORATIONS
If you have visited one of our facilities on campus recently, you may have noticed some new signage out front of Arizona Stadium and McKale Center. Our athletics department proudly partnered with the Office of Native American Advancement & Tribal Engagement to add indigenous languages on university building signs. These two signs include language from the Hualapai and San Carlos Apache tribes. NAATE hopes to include language from all Native Nations in Arizona on buildings across campus with more signs unveiling this fall.

Diversity and inclusion are at the core of Arizona Athletics and its values. We support the University of Arizona's commitment to harness the power of diversity. We commit to being respectful and courageous in valuing the richly diverse community of student-athletes, coaches and staff that make us great.
